Recently I was in Chile, and I want to share with all of you, what God is doing there. Well, he is opening doors that we do not knock. We have four clubs right now Northeast Rancagua, but it seems that soon we will have two more clubs Southwest the city. In addition, in Donihue, which is 30 minutes Rancagua, we will start YL in a school with 500 kids. Is it not amazing? He is giving us opportunities to share Jesus with more kids, as well as providing more leaders.

“The last weekend was the training camp in Colombia with 30 new potential leaders. The camp was in Fusagasuga, a little city a two hours driving from Bogota. In this city Ivan Carvajal has been making contact work since two month ago. We pray for development YL in Fusagasuga. In this moment Ivan have a seven potential leaders recruited and the last Saturday night with the all leaders of the training made the first club there.”

“The staff will host 2 outreach camps this summer — doubling the number of kids to hear the gospel!

In addition to doubling the numbers, [Haiti] will host [their] first-ever Work Crew from the U.S. The Ohio State YL Expedition team will serve campers at the July 7-11 camp!

The following are testimonies from a boy and a girl involved in Young Life Cuba.

Carlos. 21 years old. He isn’t studying and is in a music band. He lives with his mom. He had never felt so in peace as he felt that weekend. He doesn’t understand what “accept the Lord in your heart” means and he wants to have time with [his leader] to talk more about doubts in that area, but he is sure that he wants what he felt in his heart. He struggles with the cigarette and he wants to quit.

Yolanda. 18 years old. Medicine student. She lives with her grandmother and mother.

“I’ve never felt so loved and cared for by anyone as much as by my leader. That encouraged me a lot to discover the Jesus that my leader Dayana has. I have doubts, but I want to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of my life and I want and I long to be like all of these people that know Him. I want to grow in every aspect of being a woman of God and I need help.”
